It’s amazing what a little love and care can do. I looked after a little one from Dr. Bernardos in Nairobi and she went from not walking or talking at 2 yrs old to being a loving, walking, wonderful little girl.

Have prices continued to rise, and how is this affecting your ability to provide a balanced diet? Our Sunday School children are bringing their offerings to share with your children, and we’d like to help them understand what their sharing buys. Thank you!

Hannah looks so great! She was so much fun to play with–so interactive and smiley. Just the sweetest little girl. I also enjoyed my time with Rachel—just about the most cuddly kid ever. Thank you so much for allowing me to visit during my trip to Kenya. I am getting together some things to send. Is there anything specific you need? I was going to send books and baby clothes. I am thinking if we send toys you would prefer the kind that don’t take batteries? If you have any special requests please let me know. Ich habe The Nest gern!!

I visited the nest this morning and was able to spend time with this little girl. She is so sweet and although still obviously too thin she looks much better than in these photos. She was sitting up and was quick to smile and play games with baby toys. Beautiful little girl.

It is indeed very encouraging to see children who love manual work. Through such duties, they learn to keep their environment clean, develop a sense of responsibility, co-operation and love; just to name but a few. Let the children also know that they are co-workers with God. May the good spirit keep growing.
