Celebrating Easter / Ostern feiern
There was a tight pogram for Easter at The Nest this year. On Easter Sunday the kids went to church to celebrate the risen Lord. On Easter Monday Irene told a special Easter story (see photo) about an old tree that was cut down and thereafter grew a new shoot. On Tuesday after Easter the kids and staff planted 100 trees on Nest property. Easter break full of life!
An Ostern gab es im Nest allerhand Programm. Am Ostersonntag durften die Kinder in die Kirche gehen, danach gab es traditionelles Mittagessen. Am Ostermontag erzählte Irene eine Oster-Geschichte (siehe Foto), in der ein alter Baum gefällt wurde, auf dass ein neuer Trieb emporschoss. Am Dienstag nach Ostern pflanzten wir mit den Kindern ca. 100 Bäume. So viel neues Leben!
