12 Babies

british-flag.jpg During the past three weeks we got 12 (!) new babies at The Nest! Several hospitals gave us desperate calls to come and pick up eight little ones who had been left behind by their mothers anonymously.

german-flag.jpg Im Nest kamen innerhalb der letzten drei Wochen gleich 12 (!) neue Babies an! Verschiedene Krankenhäuser in der Nähe von Nairobi hatten das Nest alarmiert und um Hilfe gebeten. Die Neugeborenen waren nach der Geburt anonym von ihrer Mutter im Krankenhaus zurück gelassen worden.

german-flag.jpg Immer wieder aufs Neue machen uns diese Fälle traurig. Wie verzweifelt muss eine Mutter sein ihr eigenes Baby zu verlassen?

Hi This is Aubrie even though i’m only 11 years old iam really gla ya’ll have this program there to take care of all those abandoned kids. My school which is Ash 6th grade in Plainview, Texas. Mrs.Hart, who came to Kenya and came to the Nest program talked to us about it today which is November 20, 07 asked the whole school to donate at least 2.00 dollars from all of the whole school… Again i’m glad ya’ll have the nest program. 12 kids! I sometimes wonder, do women take a moment to think about what they are just about to do before they abandon their kids?
