Love and attention
The Nest’s main target is caring for children of imprisoned mothers. However, occasionally little babies are brought to The Nest by the police or good Samaritans. These babies are either orphans or they have been abandoned by their mother for numerous reasons. This makes us feel sad and we wish we knew the mother and could help her bond with her child. But in most cases the mother remains unknown. The Nest becomes the baby’s new home and eventually we will search for a new family.
This little one -on the back of housemother Alice- is our newest addition. Its not the first time housemother Alice shares her love with a homeless baby. She has been with us for many years in a row and she knows very well what the little ones need most apart from milk: love and attention.
