flagbritain.jpg Last Thursday students and their teachers from the International School of Kenya (ISK) came to Limuru to spend time with the children at the Nest. In their social studies exploratory program “About Kenya” they have been studying different topics concerning life in Kenya. Considering the fate of vulnerable people and children in society has been one of the areas covered.

The students showed great interest in learning more about the life of the children at the Nest. They played, sung and shared snacks with the children and gave them a lot of the much needed attention. It was a joy to watch the teenagers interact and socialize!

Thanks for your shared time and attention, guys!

We so enjoyed the visit, it was fabulous to see how our students interacted with the little and bigger kids, how sweet to watch them hold babies in their arms, tentatively a bit scared not to drop them. The picnic was fun and so was the soccer match.
